Camacho started playing professionally for Real Zaragoza, but appeared almost exclusively for the B team in the third division, also playing one season in level two with Recreativo de Huelva, on loan. Released in the 2001 summer, he returned to division three, representing Real Madrid Castilla.
In the following two years, Camacho played in Scotland for Livingston FC,[1] teaming up with compatriot Guillermo Amor in his first year, and being relatively used. He then returned to Zaragoza, but could only amass five La Liga appearances, all in the closing stages of 2004–05, being again almost exclusively associated with the Aragonese club's reserves, and being loaned to UE Lleida for five months.
Camacho played for two teams in the following two seasons, SD Huesca and UD Vecindario, both in the third division. He returned to Huesca in 2008, with the club now in level two, and settled there as first-choice during the following years; in 2010–11, he scored a career-high 13 goals (squad best), also being the team's most utilized player overall (3,675 minutes).
Camacho's father Juan José was also a footballer, as younger brother Ignacio. The latter was also brought up at Zaragoza but, as a professional, played mostly for Atlético de Madrid.
